Your Profile

You love to work in international and cross-functional teams? You have an analytical mindset helping you debug complex distributed applications? Amazing, here’s the technical part then:

• Relevant experience with AWS, Azure or GCP as well as profound understanding of Kubernetes core concepts and proven production experience with a container platform

• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK or similar infrastructure automation tools

• Experience in at least one of the scripting languages: Bash, Go or Python

• Understanding of distributed systems and their fallacies, networking and container security

• Good knowledge of a CI tool (GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Concourse, Spinnaker, Flux CD or Jenkins) as well as experience in building and processing delivery / deployment pipelines

A big plus would be:

• Experience in software development with Java / JavaScript / TypeScript

• Experience in building and operating multi-data center infrastructures for cloud-native applications as well as a deep understanding of cloud-native security principles

Your Challenge

As a Cloud Automation Engineer (m/f/d) you will enable a development team to deliver valuable features in no time. You will automate infrastructure setup and application deployment and be mainly responsible for:

• Design & Automation: Record client requests, choose adequate tools and methods based on the situation, create a working solution together with the customer and design resilient cloud architectures and ensure smooth operation with suitable observability solutions

• Strong & Reliable Partner: Advise and support our clients regarding the design and architecture of cloud solutions based on modern platforms and technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, ELK, HashiCorp tools, etc.

• Teamwork: Implementation of best practices for CI/CD and infrastructure automation in a cross-functional development team
